Olcio

Olcio, a humble town that stretches along a sunny coastline, has an interesting historical centre.
Left: the birthplace of painter Ezio Moioli. Right: narrow alleys.

The stairway covered with grass and overlooked by an aged and faded bell tower.
Washing hanging out to dry amidst the trees.

The old part of town.

Olive grove at the foot of sasso di Olcio. Along the mountainside, a quarry of black marble;
this marble was used for building the Cathedral of Como.
