Over recent years, irrational property speculation has been taking root in the Lario district. The most sensitive public opinion has rallied round to confront this problem and the newspaper La Provincia has dedicated several pages to the “wounded” Lario. The situation has not yet reached the levels of the Lake of Garda (which has seen a vertiginous increase in real estate speculation defined as being “savage”); however, in itself, this is not a good reason for shutting our eyes to this situation. I have set up a Horror Gallery with the purpose of denouncing such deturpation.
